The Artemis Lab transformed the magical Dilston Physic Garden
in Corbridge, Northumberland for an evening with a difference.
Description
The Artemis Lab designed a sensory performance event inspired by the science of plants that improve memory. This overgrown garden, brimming with plants, herbs, medicine and magic was the perfect setting for The Artemis Lab's experiential event.
We took visitors on a journey through a garden 'hospital'. The audience became our 'patients' and met our team of garden Dr's.
Dr Nostalgia, Dr Deja Vu, Dr Memori and Dr Recall.
Each Dr explored a memory phenomena alongside a specific plant that is scientifically shown to improve memory. The event was designed as a performance piece that integrated the sensory mediums of taste, touch, sound and aroma.
